Zenshin Technology Inc. has
an immediate opening for a Technical Support Specialist position.
This opportunity is for our
Technical Services Organization providing network infrastructure and user
support. You will be responsible for
overseeing operational integrity and provide quality support service. If you enjoy a challenging and rewarding

Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 / 2 technical troubleshooting of
network, desktop and enterprise applications, printing, e-mail,
connectivity, remote access, and other hardware issues.
- Provide technical administration and maintenance
duties for hardware upgrades, hardware disposal, loaner program, asset
inventory, software inventory, remote imaging, new hire setup,
termination, relocation, remote and automated updates, and remote support.
- Research, isolate, resolve, and follow-up on
difficult user problems, and escalating more complex problems to the next
level of technical staff.
- Handle IT Support queue and prioritize all open
issues.
- Log, prioritize, and action phone calls,
voicemails, emails and walk-up requests using the IT Ticketing tool.
- Manage all requests by creating, tracking and
documenting technical solutions in the helpdesk database.
- Manage deliverables associated with various
projects by prioritizing, tracking, and completing assigned tasks.
- Support multiple locations located within the
Lower Mainland area (within a 30 mile radius).
- Provide 24x7 on-call service on a weekly rotation
(2 weeks per month minimum)
Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of related desktop support
experience.
- Excellent time management, communication,
decision making, and organizational skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to work with
minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical
journals and technical procedures.
- Experience drafting business correspondence and
knowledge based articles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all
levels of staff.
- Must possess reliable transportation and a valid
driver.s license.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
preferred.
- Microsoft Certified Professional certification is
preferred. Microsoft Certified
Systems Engineer (MCSE), CompTia A+, and CompTia Network+ are also
considered assets.
